Steve Blackwell

President

Steve Blackwell spent the first 16 years of his career in the banking and consulting industries. Steve joined PMO in November 2008 and brings with him a successful background in growing bottom-line profit, increasing top line revenue, spearheading sales and marketing initiatives, recruiting high performing employees and directing strategic planning. Former employers include Household Bank, Countrywide Financial, Sebring Financial and operating a private Consulting firm. The addition of Steve to the PMO executive team brings strength in the areas of team leadership and performance management. Steve is a Graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Finance and Accounting.

Mike Hoover

Director of Field Operations

Mike Hoover has accumulated over 25 years experience in the oil and gas industry. Mike first worked in regulatory compliance with companies such as Burns Oil and Gas, and the Texas Railroad Commission. Mike also worked in his father's oil and gas exploration company: Dymar Corp., and was active in all areas of the operation from the business end, to drilling, completion, prospect evaluation, regulatory compliance and general field operations. Mike joined Petromax in 1989 as Operations Director and holds a B.A. degree from Abilene Christian University.

Robert Sparks

Director of Business Development

Robert Sparks has some 30 years experience in the generation, acquisition, exploration, development, and operations of oil and gas properties. Mr. Sparks has served in the position(s) of President, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Director of Business Development, and Business Development and Marketing consultant to independent oil and gas operators since 1977. Over the past 25 years, Robert has had success in retail and wholesale distribution, business development and consulting, oil and gas development, and fund raising and capital acquisition for privately held companies. Robert received a B.A. degree from Lamar University and earned two Masters Degrees in separate fields of study.
